Theo is proud to have been born and raised in Hockinson, WA, just NE of Vancouver, WA. He graduated from Hockinson High School and then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Washington in Seattle, specializing in Adverse Childhood Experiences and how they contribute to barriers students may experience in K-12 education. Following graduation, Theo, his partner, and their three fur-babies made the decision to return to Vancouver and build a life surrounded by family and friends. A big believer in community building and supporting a mixture of tradition and new-age thinking, Theo has pursued a career in working in a 1:1 mentorship role with youth to promote success through the power of building positive connections, leading him to become a mentor here at Friends - SWWA.
