Kyia was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and earned her associate’s degree from Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. After graduating, she relocated to Arizona to pursue a career in social work, where she gained valuable insight into the lasting impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences and the importance of supportive, consistent adults in a young person’s life.
Kyia is passionate about modeling kindness and resilience, and she strives to build meaningful, long-term relationships that empower youth to achieve their goals and aspirations. She is dedicated to creating a lasting, positive impact not only for the youth she mentors but also for her team and their shared mission.
Outside of work, Kyia enjoys exploring her community and developing new skills—especially those that allow her to express her creativity through physical and artistic pursuits.
