John was born and raised in a small town in Montana, where he grew up exploring the mountains and outdoors with his friends and family. He began his career working with children as a Mental Health Technician at Montana's only children's psychiatric hospital. Before relocating to Vancouver, John lived and worked in Spokane, WA. He worked for a non-profit organization that supported youth and young adults with disabilities, teaching them pre-employment and life skills. With over 7 years of experience in the field, John has learned that his passion lies in creating supportive environments and long-term, meaningful relationships with the youth he supports.
In his free time, John enjoys golfing, fishing, watching sports, and cooking. He also likes to spend time at the water with his dog, June, and his partner. When time allows, he enjoys traveling back home to Montana to spend time with his nieces and nephew
